Postpartum Doula Solutions
A baby may have rocked your world! It is exciting and exhausting while being clear and confusing all at the same time.
Are you wondering:
⭐️ Is my baby eating enough?
⭐️ Is my baby sleeping enough?
⭐️ How do I know what my baby needs?
Are you also wondering:
⭐️ How do I take care myself and my baby?
⭐️ Will I ever get sleep again?
⭐️ Will my life feel normal again? If so, when?
My role is to help you make informed decisions by providing evidence-based information and nonjudgmental support as you’ll need to rest, recover, and bond with your little one.
What a life saver!
Irene was very kind towards me, my son, and my family. She knew we were struggling and really helped us through a rough time. I thought my son was an impossible case, but she was confident, poised, and supportive. Her encouragement gave me the confidence to embrace the process and implement what we learned.
The materials in Healthy Sleep Foundations to read/view were good. This helped me in shifting my mindset of identifying bad habits, so I was prepared for the new information and techniques Irene shared.
Having new information to create better habits helped us create a healthier sleep routine for our son.
The breathing technique was most helpful.
Our son did great and started sleeping longer stretches by himself within a couple of weeks and we never experienced the 4 month sleep regression because of the flexible routines we created.

What does the research tell us?
Research by experts tells us what many have long suspected-that those new parents who have support and feel secure and cared for during this time are more successful in adapting than those who don’t.
Studies have shown that cultures in which women are cared for by others for a defined period of days or weeks and are expected only to nurture themselves and their babies during that time have superior outcomes in postpartum adjustment.
We know that women who experience support from their family members, care providers, counselors and peer groups have greater breastfeeding success, greater self-confidence, less postpartum depression, and a lower incidence of abuse than those who do not.
When we know better, we can do better!
As your postpartum doula I can provide you day and overnight support to you and your family for one day, one week, one month, or an extended amount of time.
